It’s here again – our single biggest fundraiser in the Cash for Kids calendar! Live on-air for a whole weekend, the team here at Radio Tay will be auctioning off some fantastic items to raise money for the kids living on YOUR doorstep.

Many kids across Tayside don’t get the opportunity to enjoy a special outing and Cash for Kids plans to organise a number of trips over the school holidays. The first in Dundee will be held at Pirate’s Island on Monday 9th August.

Cash for Kids is the new name for Caring for Kids and the good news is that even more money will now be winging its way into our charity funds here in 2008 We’ve joined up with 19 other radio station charities across the UK, under the ‘Cash for Kids’ banner, in a bid to increase our funding for local communities by nearly £2.5 million this year!
