She may now be one of the world's most sought-after actresses but Nicole Kidman knows her initial rise to fame was due to being Mrs Tom Cruise.

She admits her marriage to the Hollywood actor in 1990 helped make her a star, saying "I became very famous because I was the wife of somebody."

Nicole and Tom were married for 11 years, before divorcing in 2001 - they're both now remarried.

 

 

 

 

Peter Andre could be permanently taking over Paul O'Grady's chat show.

He's apparently in advanced talks with Channel 4.

Paul resigned last month after signing a deal to return to ITV.

 

 

 

 

Barry Manilow's releasing a DVD just in time for Christmas.

It's taken from a live TV special he did in 2003, with songs including "White Christmas" and "Jingle Bells".

The DVD's called Barry Manilow Happy Holiday and features Cyndi Lauper among the guests.
